RIDE WITH US

The Texas Brotherhood Ride team is made up of active and retired firefighters, police officers and EMS personnel, selected by the board of directors. Just like on the job, we work as a team: riding together, eating together and bunking together along with our support crew. No one is paid; everyone gives their time for the families.

Every rider must: ride a road or tri bike; raise at least $750 for the families; sign the waiver and turn in medical history and emergency contacts; be able to finish the whole ride at 80 to 100 miles a day; and answer team emails and help at events and merchandise sales. The Safety Committee may move a rider to the support team at any time for safety. Support team members drive assigned vehicles and lift 10 to 50 lb; they are encouraged, not required, to fundraise.

The application below stays open year-round and becomes our waitlist once the team is full. The board reviews every application and will contact you if a spot opens. It asks why you want to ride; with your OK, your answer may appear on your public rider profile. Questions? Email honor@txbhr.com.

The Texas Brotherhood Ride is ridden by active and retired first responders and the support team behind them, for the families of first responders who died in the line of duty. Riders must be active or retired law enforcement, fire (career or volunteer) or EMS. Support team members do not need to be first responders. Once the team is full, this application becomes our waitlist.
